CLL 152A - Studies in Literature: Russian Short Story

This course traces the development of the Russian short story genre from its beginnings in the nineteenth century to the present day. While reading these stories in their historical framework, we will look at the changes that occurred in Russian society and culture. Taught in English with all readings in English.
