JRNL 222 - Business Writing Semester Hours: 3 Once a
Year
This course is intended for graduate students interested in pursuing a
career in reporting for newspapers and magazines on the worlds of
business and finance. Through a combination of lectures, discussions
and hands-on writing assignments, students will hone their
understanding of and their ability to explain the business community,
the people who work in it and the economic forces that govern it.
Prerequisites & Course Notes JRNL 211. Journalism students may not take this course on
a Pass/Fail basis. Students not matriculating in the M.A. Journalism
program may take the course as a Pass/Fail elective.
