MFT 232 - Family Therapy With Children of Divorce

Once a Year
Teaches therapists how to counsel parents about various problems their children may have during separation and divorce. Focus on how to counsel children who are going through the divorcing process. Discussion of the various denial processes a child may use, feelings of abandonment a child may experience when his/her parents are separating or divorcing and the therapeutic techniques associated with each.
