HADM 203 - Comparative Health Policies and Systems
Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
Course traces the United States health services system’s evolution into
managed care and compares the United States system’s strengths and
weaknesses with that of other Organization for Economic Cooperation and
Development (OECD) countries. Comparisons are made using such
variables as costs, organization, financing, quality, benefits, and
access, with the health services systems of Canada, Germany, United
Kingdom and Japan.
Prerequisites & Course Notes
