PHA 132 - Geriatrics

Semester Hours: 2
Fall
This multidisciplinary course prepares students to provide quality health care to elderly individuals in the community, long-term care settings, and acute-care settings. The format of this course consists of lectures, physical diagnosis laboratory, a field trip to a long-term care facility, group discussion and written assignments. 

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Acceptance into the Physician Assistant Studies Program. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis. No liberal arts credit.
