LAW 2830 - Environmental Law in Commercial and Real Estate Transactions This course integrates substantive environmental law issues into real estate and commercial transactions. Statutes and regulations affecting both regulated and nonregulated businesses, such as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (Superfund), are analyzed, and issues arising from them that are frequently encountered in transactions are considered and resolved in the context of specific transactions. This is a problem method course, and grading is based upon written work, including drafting of environmental portions of transactional documents.
