LAW 3794 - Debtor Creditor Law This course relates to the rights and obligations of debtors and creditors, including bankruptcy, attachment, execution and enforcement of judgments, judicial and statutory liens, priorities, supplementary proceedings, fraudulent conveyances, and preferential transfers under federal and state laws. The course includes a study of the forms of relief available under the Bankruptcy Code for consumers and business debtors, with particular attention to Chapter 7 (liquidation), Chapter 11 (reorganization), and Chapter 13 (adjustment of debts for individuals with regular income).
Prerequisites & Notes Pre or co-requisite: Business Organizations.
