LAW 2830 - Environmental Law in Commercial and Real Estate Transactions
This course integrates substantive environmental law issues into real estate and commercial transactions. The common law and statutory bases of environmental liability will be explored and the transactional process from due diligence to closing will be reviewed. Issues frequently encountered in transactions are considered and resolved in the context of specific transactions. This is a practice oriented course structured to fulfill the Writing II requirement. Grading is based upon both written work (including drafting of client advisory memoranda) and class participation.
