LAW 2891 - Law and Literature This seminar uses a variety of works along with relevant case law to explore some of the recurring problems in the law. The course examines themes such as the individual’s relationship with society, the effect of drawing lines between public and private life, the justification for civil disobedience, and the role of the administrative state in the legal order. Requirements include a short (2-3 page) paper due each week. Class participation is required. No examination is given.
