LAW 2901 - Legal Issues in Valuation of Assets


Valuation of assets is a key component of many legal disputes, and the legal consequences of valuing various types of assets, from marital property to real estate to professional licenses to retirement plans, may be both complex and critical.  This course explores many of the legal issues in the determination of value in a variety of assets.  Important components of the course include a focus on working with forensic accountants and other experts, and an opportunity for the students to role play several of these key issues.
