BIO 137 - Cell BiologySemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
Ultrastructure, composition and function of cells and their organelles, DNA replication transcription and translation are covered in depth. Includes a discussion of the major research techniques in cell biology. Students will participate in group-based interactive workshops in which they will be expected to inform/persuade/defend viewpoints to fellow students in collaborative discussions.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 11, 12 and junior standing; CHEM 3A, 3B; prerequisite or corequisite: CHEM 4A, 4B.
