Semester Hours:3Spring
Thermodynamics, properties and kinetic theory of gases, elementary wave
mechanics and the development of atomic structure and chemical bonding,
homogeneous and heterogeneous chemical and physical equilibria,
chemical kinetics; electrochemistry, elementary statistical
thermodynamics. (3 hours lecture, 1 hour recitation.)
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: CHEM 4A, CHEM 141, PHYS 12A and MATH 72.
