TPP 113 - Technology and Defense Policy

Semester Hours: 3
Periodically
Emphasis is on weapons technology (ABM’s, long range mis- siles, nuclear weapons) and how evolving technology influences and is, in turn, influenced by changing policies in military security and arms control. Analysis of major U.S. policy decisions concerning strategies, arms control and military systems. The technological, environmental, political, strategic and budgetary factors affecting these decisions are examined.
