RTVF 100 - Principles of Digital Editing

Semester Hours: 3
This is a post-production course introducing television and film students to the theories and concepts of digital nonlinear editing using Avid and/or other digital editing systems. Through screenings, lectures, discussions and demonstrations, students learn basic editing concepts, styles, and methods of accomplishing various editing tasks.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
RTVF 26 or 47. No liberal arts credit. Admission to class by permission of department. Lab fees additional. (Formerly AVF 100, Principles of Nonlinear Digital Editing.)
