SED 242 - Global History in the Curriculum

Semester Hours: 3
This is a examination of global history curricula in New York State including content knowledge, conceptual understandings, and strategies for promoting the acquisition of academic, technological and social skills and enhanced literacy in inclusive classrooms. It is an exploration of the complex multicultural global nature of human experience using a thematic, interdisciplinary, inquiry-based activity and project approach that integrates New York state’s and national world history, geography, anthropology, government and citizenship, sociology and economic standards.
