FA 102A - New Media ISemester Hours: 3 This course introduces students to the conceptual and creative thinking necessary to conceive and produce new media projects. Included are rudimentary introductions to sound and image programs for the production of screen-based media like digital sound, motion graphics and Web sites. There is an emphasis on encouraging experimentation and imagination within focused assignment goals as a means of developing a personal aesthetic direction.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: FA 27 or permission of instructor. There is a lab fee of $80.
