AUD 563 - Clinical Practicum in Audiology III (Externship)

Semester Hours: 2
This is a clinical externship and seminar for audiology majors in rehabilitation and/or assessment of auditory disorders. Supervised clinical practice with individuals at different developmental levels takes place on campus and at off-campus affiliated hospital and clinical sites. The seminar investigates special diagnostic procedures including ENG, posturography, vestibular disorders, ABR & OAE methods and models. Implications of cultural and linguistic diversity are addressed.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
AUD 562. {Formerly SPCH 261A, Clinical Methods and Procedures II (Audiology).} May be repeated once for credit with permission of graduate program director.
