CSC 207 - Advanced Data StructuresSemester Hours: 3 This course concerns managing multiple stacks and queues, stack series, permutations obtainable from stacks and queues, concatenatable queues, locating repeated substrings: an application of stacks. It also covers stack and queue operation sequences, set representation methods, the union-find algorithm, and trees: Robson traversal, Lindstrom scanning, and Siklossy traversal. It also concerns generalized lists, mergeable heaps, files as a data structure, storage compaction, and garbage collection.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: CSC 204 . Course open to graduate students in computer science; others need permission from computer science graduate director.
