MATH 61 - (MC) Basic Calculus With ApplicationsSemester Hours: 4 This is a terminal course that should not be taken by students who wish to continue in mathematics. Functions, limits, differentiation, and integration and applications to business and the biological and social sciences. Similar to MATH 61A , but with more time for review and applications.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: High school precalculus or equivalent. MATH 50 strongly recommended. No credit given for both this course and MATH 61A or 71 . May not be taken after MATH 71. For those interested in continuing with calculus, see MATH 71B. (Formerly MATH 10E.)
