MATH 198B - Special Studies in Mathematics: Algebraic Structures for Teachers

Semester Hours: 3
This course focuses on the study of the foundations of mathematics including the development of the number systems and methods of proof. Content areas include: sets, relations, functions, concepts of number theory, groups, rings, integral domains, fields, and functions on algebraic structures. Not open to undergraduate mathematics majors.
