SOC 32 - (BH, CC) Women and DevelopmentSemester Hours: 3 This is an examination of the historical transformation of the roles of Asian and African women in relation to the different modes of socioeconomic organization of their respective societies. There is critical assessment of the impact of social, religious, economic and political systems in defining the status of women in these societies.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Credit given for this course or AFST 32 or ANTH 32, not all.
