CHEM 124 - Instrumental MethodsSemester Hours: 2 Fall
Study of principles underlying instrumental methods. Evaluation of techniques used to apply these methods to the solution of chemical problems. Methods studied may include atomic and molecular absorption and emission spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry, polarography, coulometry, chromatography, x-ray diffraction, fluorescence and fast reaction techniques; computer interfacing with instruments. (2 hours lecture.)
