ENGG 9A - Introduction to Engineering

Semester Hours: 2
Periodically
Overview of the engineering profession, its genesis and evolution to the present day, including fields of engineering and career paths within same. Study of ethics with emphasis on the engineering workplace. Engineering design and analysis techniques, development of problem-solving skills, communication skills; student design projects.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Enrollment restricted to freshmen and sophomores.
