JRNL 55 - Editorial Presentation

Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
This course will introduce students to newspaper, magazine and Web information layout and design, including an introduction to typography, color theory, basic design principles, news design, features design, Web design and print and online graphics reporting. We will also examine concepts such as journalistic visual editing, journalistic graphics technology, and the history of visual journalism.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
JRNL 11. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis. No liberal arts credit. Lab fees additional.
