LIT 43 - (LT) Greek Tragedy

Periodically
Reading and analysis of plays by Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. The cultural, religious, and political contexts of the fifth century BC will provide the background for literary interpretation of the plays. Supplemental  readings may include selections from Thucydides, Plato and Aristotle.
