MKT 135 - Foundations of Direct MarketingSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
An examination of the concepts, strategies and applications involved in direct marketing, both nationally and internationally. A variety of topics are covered, including: an overview of direct marketing, building databases, list segmentation, planning creative strategy and execution, and developing direct campaigns using a variety of media. The role of interactive media is emphasized. Contemporary issues such as privacy are discussed. Analysis includes direct marketing for both business- to-business and final consumers.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MKT 101 and junior class standing or above.
