PESP 163A - Evaluation and Management of Injury 1Semester Hours: 3 Fall
This is an advanced course in injury recognition and assessment for
students intending to become certified athletic trainers.
Course topics include recognition of mechanism of injuries, signs and
symptoms of injuries, history and physical evaluation parameters of
injuries pertaining to the injured unconscious athlete and injuries to
the lumbar spine, sacral spine, and the lower extremities.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 103, 105; PESP 161. (Formerly Lower Extremity Evaluation.)
