PHA 127 - Medicine IIISemester Hours: 3-4 Fall
This course is system-oriented and includes the etiology, recognition and treatment of common diseases, in the following areas of clinical medicine: gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, and clinical psychiatry. The anatomy, physiology and concepts of physical diagnosis relating to each system are reviewed. The pathophysiology of disease states, differential diagnosis of problems and interpretation of laboratory and radiographic tests appropriate to each system are discussed.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to students enrolled in the professional phase of the Physician Assistant Studies Program. No liberal arts credit.
