PHA 160 - Obstetrics/Gynecology ClerkshipSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
The management of conditions found in women throughout the reproductive and post menopausal years is presented in the office and clinic setting. Identification and treatment of gynecologic and obstetrical problems as well as care of women during pregnancy and menopause is stressed. Problems related to fertility, infection and neoplasm are also presented. Prenatal and antenatal care as well as delivery-room and operating-room experience encompass some clerkship experiences.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to students enrolled in the professional phase of the Physician Assistant Studies Program. No liberal arts credit.
