PHI 115 - Philosophical Ideas in LiteratureSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
An examination of philosophy in/of literature. Possible topics include modernism, the representation of evil, the representation of ethical perspectives in literature, the representation of time and the issue of authorial voice. Readings in philosophical and literary texts are determined by the topics chosen for a particular semester.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: PHI 10 or 14 or permission of instructor. (Formerly Philosophical Ideas in Modern Literature; PHIL 140.)
