For each semester hour, students will work a minimum of 28 hours on site in addition to completing a minimum of 10 hours of academic work that will include reading, research, and a final paper or project that situates the internship experience within the broader framework of the academic study of religion. Also required, but not counted as part of the 10 hours of academic work are a minimum of three meetings with a faculty adviser – one at the beginning, another at mid-term, and the final at the end of the work experience.
