ELED 266 - Dual Certification Program Classroom Perspectives and Issues (Grades 4-6)Semester Hours: 1 Systems of intermediate grade (4-6) classroom interaction are studied. Includes integration of curriculum, assessment, classroom management techniques, provision for aesthetic education, development of cognitive abilities and home-school relationships.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Must be taken concurrently with ELED 264 . Completion of phases 2 and 3 of the M.S.Ed. Dual Certification Program with no incompletes or grades lower than C-, and a minimum departmental grade point average of 3.0. Students must earn a grade of C- or higher in each graduate course. Application to the Office of Field Placement by October 1 and an interview. Pass/Fail grade only. Note: Winter student teaching begins in December, the day after fall semester student teaching ends. Course is cross-listed with ELED 140 .
