CT 279 - The Psychology of Music Learning and TeachingSemester Hours: 3 This course concerns theory and research in the psychology of music with emphasis on the educational implications of this work. Topics include: processes of musical cognition, including perception, production, and reflection; biological and cultural influences on musical cognition and development; and relationship of musical cognition to other cognitive abilities. Open only to musicians and music educators.
