MATH 143 - (MC) Engineering Mathematics ISemester Hours: 3 Systems of linear equations, row operations, Gauss Jordan reduction, matrix algebra, inversion, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, solutions of linear ODE’s, algebra of the complex plane, polar representation and DeMoivre’s theorem, the complex exponential and logarithmic functions, Fourier Series, the solution of the heat and wave equations by Fourier Series, Bessel functions and applications.
