MPHY 250 - Seminar in Medical Physics


Semester Hours: 1
Fall, Spring
Seminars in topics of current interest and relevance to medical physics will include guest speakers from academic, clinical, and industrial organizations. Students will develop presentation skills through self-directed on-line training modules developed by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine-Radiological Society of North America (AAPM-RSNA) and the AAPM Virtual Library.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Open only to students enrolled in the M.S. program in medical physics or permission of program director. May be repeated for credit up to a maximum of 3 s.h. Grading is Pass/Fail grade only.
