MPHY 245 - Practicum in Radiation Oncology


Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Summer
A supervised hands-on training experience in the practical aspects of radiation oncology physics in the clinical radiation medicine department of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MPHY 240 . Open only to students enrolled in the M.S. program in medical physics with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in course work in medical physics or permission of program director. May be repeated once for credit. Practicum meets 56 hours for each semester hour of credit. Pass/Fail grade only.
