EMBA 425 - The Challenge of Global Business Strategy

Semester Hours: 3
This is an integrative capstone course with an emphasis on the strategic framework and business decision making in a global environment. In formulating a global strategy, the importance of functional interdependence and the role of coordinating the planning of the various country operations are discussed. An important part of the course is the development of skills for evaluating the impact of external environmental factors such as the economy, political stability, infrastructure, technology, cultural diversity and ethical issues as they affect a global firm.
