PHA 160 - Obstetrics/Gynecology Clerkship Fall, Spring
This rotation takes place in a hospital setting, in which the students
are a part of the health care team. Students are responsible for care
of the patients on the obstetrical and gynecological floors and the
clinics within the hospital. Students are involved in the management
and care of patients ante- and postpartum, and also acquire delivery
experience. The student also learns routine physical examinations as
well as care and management of patients with a wide variety of various
gynecological and obstetrical problems.
Prerequisites & Notes Open only to students enrolled in the professional phase of the Physician Assistant
Program. No liberal arts credit.
