ENGL 146A - (LT) American Fiction, 1950-Present Periodically
An exploration of how fiction since WWII engages the complexity of aesthetic
and cultural challenges that have characterized the second half of the “American”
century. Works by such authors as Ellison, Nabokov, Bellow, Pynchon, Morrison,
DeLillo, and Erdrich.
Prerequisites & Notes ENGL 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the English Proficiency
Exam requirement.
