ENGL 122 - Studies in the Novel II Spring
Investigates the range of novel forms in the 20th century, including works by
major novelists such as James, Mann, Proust, Faulkner, Joyce, Woolf, Nabokov,
and Marquez. Topics discussed may include novelists’ treatment of time, point
of view, the quest for values, and the possibilities of modern love.
Prerequisites & Notes ENGL 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the English Proficiency
Exam requirement.
