Exploration of environmental morality as based on the science and
metaphysics of ecology. Practical concerns include population and
pollution, resource protection and interspecies relations; theoretical
issues include the scope and status of ethical significance. A key aim
is to clarify and enrich conceptions of the relationship between nature
and culture.
