BCIS 30 - Power Tools for End-User Support


Fall, Spring
An in-depth study of the software tools used by managers and other end-users to improve their productivity, their decisionmaking effectiveness and their computer enhanced communication skills. Focus on microcomputer hardware and software. Topics such as presentation graphics, desktop publishing, operating systems, multimedia and creating and using Internet pages are covered. Students become proficient power users and learn to evaluate software and hardware for accounting, finance, management and marketing problems. Introduces student to Visual Basic.

Prerequisites & Notes
BCIS 14 or CSC 5.
