DNCE 127 - (AA) Dance AppreciationSemester Hours: 3 Introduction to dance as an art form through the development of analytical viewing skills. Includes aesthetics, definitions, and the study of representative dance masterpieces and the principal genres, forms and styles of theatrical dance. Independent viewing of dance videos and attendance at on-campus concerts required. Students will conduct a research project on a dance form of their choice and will share their findings through an oral presentation that includes visual, auditory or technological aids.
