ELED 258 - Introduction to Information Technology in EducationSemester Hours: 1 The classroom teacher is called upon to use new technologies to facilitate the teaching and learning process. This course focuses on the integration of information technologies across the early childhood/elementary curriculum. A variety of information technologies including computers, scanners, digital cameras, and video capture devices. The Internet and communication tools are explored with a view toward enhancing classroom instruction. Students initiate the development of their professional electronic portfolios which continue to evolve throughout the M.S. in Education program.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Students who took ELED 104A on the undergraduate level will not get additional credit for this course, and should consult their advisor for a substitute course. Distance Learning
