Semester Hours: 3As new diseases emerge, students will be prepared to analyze health information, and current involving health issues. Students will identify chronic and communicable diseases and their impact on health and wellness. Primary areas of inquiry are CVD, stroke, Mad Cow, West Nile, anthrax, lyme, SARS, diabetes and obesity.
