RTVF 065: Television Production Practicum Semester Hours: 1-3 Intensive examination of modern media and television practices. Topics reflect current and emerging industry issues, roles or technologies.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Course may be taken a number of times as long as there is a different letter designation each time it is taken. Admission to class by permission of department. No liberal arts credit. Lab fees additional.

- Television Production Practicum: International Media - Students will study the myriad challenges and opportunities associated with overseas television, film, and digital media production. Examination of and field visits to major communication organizations in the host country will provide in-depth awareness of history and current practices outside the familiar domestic industry. In the process of producing individual and/or group videos, students will gain experience interacting with international constituencies and learn how to deal with the added complexities of global production. Students from any program of Hofstra’s RTVF Department are encouraged to enroll.
