CHEM 135: Foundations in Organic Chemistry Semester Hours: 4
Basic principles of chemistry extended to aliphatic and aromatic organic compounds, including: nomenclature; theories of bonding; structure; reactions and physical properties; methods of preparation; reaction mechanisms (4 hour lecture, 1 hour recitation).
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
CHEM 003A. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
