LAW 2723 - Introduction to Commercial Dispute Resolution This course is specifically directed at students who are interested in developing an understanding of the different types of dispute resolution used in the context of international commercial transactions. Existing courses usually focus on either international commercial arbitration or international litigation or mediation as separate and independent topics. This course is intended to survey all of these forms of dispute resolution in the international context. It will provide students with both the legal framework and some of the difficult legal issues arising out of all three of these modes of dispute resolution.
Prerequisites & Notes NOTE: This course is designed to be offered during Hofstra’s summer program in Pisa, Italy during an intensive two week period.
