FREN 019 - History of the French Language

Semester Hours: 1
Periodically
A five-week intensive course in French philology. Emphasis on the development of the French vowel and verb system. Previous study of Latin is helpful.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Intermediate or advanced French phonetics; FREN 111, 114 or permission. (Formerly FREN 144.)
