Eighteenth- and 19th-century harmony through 7th chords, extended dominants, chromaticism and modulation.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MUS 70A, 71A, 73 and 74, or approval of department chairperson. Credit given for this courses or MUS 72. Students should register for 63 and 71A in the same semester and 64 and 72A in the following semester.
